Q. How far in advance should we reserve a date for our event?
A. Our venue is booked according to availability. If the venue is not reserved, it is available. Many events at Hill Country Village are booked well in advance (12-16 months is the general rule).
Q. What is included in the rental package of the venue?
A. All day rental, friendly and helpful staff to assist you, tables, chairs, linens, plates, all glassware, flatware, Bride/Groom dressing rooms, outdoor/indoor ceremony sites, climate controlled indoor reception site, plenty of parking, cleanup services after the party, and access for bridal/engagement photo shoots.
Q. Do you provide tables, chairs, and linens for your receptions?
A. As part of your rental package, we provide tables, chairs, ivory and black linens, dinner/beverage napkins 60” round tables, 8’ and 6’ rectangular tables, and additional accessories.
Q. What dinnerware and flatware is available?
A. We have glass cake and dinner plates, flatware, chaffers, glassware including red/white wine glasses, rocks, water and champagne flutes.
Q. Are your events fully staffed?
A. Yes, we provide all servers, bartenders, parking and security personnel.
Q. Are dressing areas available?
A. Yes, we have three dressing rooms. Rooms include mirrors and clothes racks.
Q. Who is in charge of clean up and set up?
A. Hill Country Village provides all clean-up and set up – before and after the event.
Q. May we take bridal/engagement photos on the property.
A. We permit Bridal/Engagement pictures on our property. But please check with us. If we have an event that same day, pictures may not be convenient for you because of ongoing set up and deliveries.
Q. How long may we use the facility? When may we decorate for the event?
A. We book one event per day. Therefore the facility is available all day. You may decorate anytime during the reserved day.
Q. Do any décor restrictions exist indoors?
A. We ask you to please avoid the following when decorating: unprotected candles, glitter, paper confetti, fresh rose petals, and nailing, screwing, or stapling into walls and furniture. Also, please use non-marking tape (i.e. duct tape is not permitted). Please discuss these restrictions with management if you have specific needs.
Q. What restrictions exist for outdoor décor or items to toss on departure?
A. Please avoid using flower petals, confetti, glitter, and nailing, screwing, and stapling into buildings/wood work. Please do not use rice or confetti upon departure. Please discuss these restrictions with management if you have specific needs.
Q. What is provided for a ceremony at your site?
A. We provide white padded chairs for rental, a CD player with speakers inside and outside, and the ability to have an indoor/outdoor ceremony.
Q. What kitchen/catering amenities are available?
A. Hill Country Village provides all catering on the property...except cakes.
Q. What are the rules for alcohol?
A. Hill Country Village offers a full bar. All alcohol/bartenders will be provided by Hill Country Village. Bringing alcohol onto the property is forbidden.
Q. What is not included with Hill Country Village rental?
A. Photography, bands or DJs, tents, decorations, floral arrangements and cakes. Assistance with wedding coordination and florals is available for an extra charge.
